As Marketing Director at Global Citizen, I led the organisation’s marketing strategy for COP26, driving awareness, engagement, and real-world impact around the climate crisis. Our integrated campaign combined a powerful on-the-ground activation in Glasgow’s Green Zone with a series of digital tactics that inspired over 400,000 climate actions from Global Citizen members worldwide.
At the event, we distributed hundreds of biodegradable protest posters, designed in collaboration with Glasgow-based illustrator Ida Henrich. Each poster featured a QR code linking directly to a petition calling for urgent climate action, turning creative expression into tangible activism.
Our stand attracted thousands of visitors, including Ellie Goulding, who stopped by to support the campaign and amplify our message. That weekend, more than 100,000 people joined the Glasgow climate march, spreading our call for collective action far and wide.
